

{"id":43198,"date":"2025-10-15T02:02:21","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T01:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/projects\/krame\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T03:09:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T02:09:45","slug":"krame","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/projects\/krame\/","title":{"rendered":"KraMe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The aim of the <em>KraMe-<\/em>project is to strengthen the image of the<strong> neighboring languages<\/strong> German and<br \/>\nDutch, especially among young people, to arouse respectively to increase<br \/>\ninterest in the neighboring languages and in cross-border contact, and to use<br \/>\nthe existing multilingualism of young people as a resource: Learning<br \/>\nneighboring languages in the context of multilingualism!<\/p>\n<p>The project, initiated by<br \/>\nthe Radboud University and the University of Duisburg-Essen, focuses on<br \/>\n<strong>multilingualism as the key<\/strong> to cross-border society and cultural understanding,<br \/>\nand aims to value existing multilingualism &#8211; including languages of origin,<br \/>\nfamily languages, local languages and dialects as well as foreign languages learned<br \/>\nat school &#8211; and to make use of them for learning neighboring languages.<\/p>\n<p>By the means<br \/>\nof <strong>innovative, age-appropriate educational programme offers<\/strong> from primary<br \/>\neducation to university, the importance of neighboring and multilingual skills<br \/>\nis conveyed and their <strong>relevance for integration, education and the labor market<\/strong><br \/>\nis underlined. To this end, a series of coordinated materials in contemporary<br \/>\nformats such as video clips, games, online and print material is being<br \/>\ndeveloped for the various educational levels.<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\nmaterials, which can be used to promote neighboring language learning and which<br \/>\ncan be used for neighboring language teaching, will be developed <strong>in<br \/>\ncoordination with cooperating schools and the Stichting Leerplanontwikkeling<\/strong><br \/>\n(SLO), tested in practice, evaluated and successively made available online<br \/>\nfree of charge to other schools, universities and other educational<br \/>\ninstitutions.<\/p>\n<p>The project ultimately contributes to breaking down the barrier effect of the German-Dutch border and instead making it possible to experience the border region as a shared living space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"parent":0,"template":"","pr-category":[274],"pr-priority":[289],"pr-stat":[254],"class_list":["post-43198","projects","type-projects","status-publish","hentry","pr-category-integration-education-and-labor-market","pr-priority-work-together-for-a-connected-border-area","pr-stat-new"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/43198","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=43198"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"pr-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pr-category?post=43198"},{"taxonomy":"pr-priority","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pr-priority?post=43198"},{"taxonomy":"pr-stat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pr-stat?post=43198"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
