Continuous and quantitative<br \/>\nrecording of human motor function is required for optimal<br \/>\nrehabilitation. However, current technical solutions require either a<br \/>\nvisit to a gait laboratory, which only a few specialised clinics have<br \/>\ndue to the high costs, or a monitoring system worn on the body, which<br \/>\nonly records a few minutes with sufficient accuracy, cannot be<br \/>\nintegrated into clothing and is complex to put into operation.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, <strong>LifeHelper <\/strong>records human motor<br \/>\nactivity at any time and in any place in a highly precise, continuous,<br \/>\nrobust, compact, calibration-free and recyclable manner. <strong>LifeHelper <\/strong>realises<br \/>\nthis disruptive movement measurement with battery-free &ldquo;tags&rdquo; that are<br \/>\nintegrated almost invisibly into any item of clothing as small, flat<br \/>\nwireless sensors that are always ready for use and whose current<br \/>\npositions are calculated by a tracking device worn on the belt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LifeHelper <\/strong>thus not only optimises and shortens the<br \/>\nrehabilitation process through quantitative and continuous movement<br \/>\nmonitoring, but also counteracts neurological diseases (e.g.<br \/>\nParkinson&rsquo;s) through individual medication, enables evidence-based<br \/>\nphysiotherapy and occupational therapy measures and increases the<br \/>\nquality of life even in old age through preventive training. The<br \/>\nunlimited amount of individual movement data also opens up completely<br \/>\nnew applications for artificial intelligence (AI).
