These will be investigated and tested in<br \/>\npractical applications by sub-partners from the entire program area<br \/>\n(open part). &#8239;For the at least 20 development projects, German and Dutch<br \/>\nSMEs are actively brought together through workshops and direct<br \/>\napproaches. These sub-project partners work together with each other or<br \/>\nwith core partners. To this end, ideas are submitted to the project<br \/>\nadvisory board, which declares ideas worthy of support according to<br \/>\ndefined criteria. In addition, participating companies are trained using<br \/>\nthe CIRCO method to adapt their business models to circularity. To<br \/>\nutilize as many materials as possible in the program area, material<br \/>\nflows are analyzed based on research results. The addressed topics were<br \/>\nidentified on the basis of two workshops in the project preparation<br \/>\n(among others quality assurance, collection, separation and logistics<br \/>\nsolutions, as well as procurement and digitalization e.g.). The goal is<br \/>\nto exceed the current regional level of innovation and to develop<br \/>\nproducts, processes and services for sustainably operating customers. To<br \/>\nleverage synergies, there is an internal exchange between the<br \/>\nsubprojects and an external exchange with other circular initiatives.<br \/>\nThrough X-Lives, various competencies and expertise of the partners are<br \/>\nbundled to actively shape the circular economy and thus contribute to<br \/>\nthe Paris Climate Agreement and the European Green Deal.
