In Biotech Talent Unlocked, knowledge institutes Hanze, NHL Stenden, RUG, HS Emden\/Leer and companies (BIO Cooperative, 3N) are actively working to organise sufficient and appropriately skilled talent for the circular and biobased economy, which is a tough challenge in the EDR border region. The consortium makes the career prospects of this region more visible and approachable for German and Dutch young talent (MBO, BSc & MSc) with a background in biotechnology or related studies. <\/p>\n
Thus:<\/p>\n
– knowledge institutions and companies are actively connected through company visits, meet&greets and meetings;<\/p>\n
– substantive cooperation opportunities between the institutions are identified and curricula are aligned;<\/p>\n
– concrete educational modules are (re)developed for cross-border participation and new joint educational modules are developed to achieve sustainable and impactful cross-border educational activities that seamlessly connect with the labour market. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Green Business Challenge (Biotech edition) has been organised, a number of new modules have been developed and a multitude of interactions between students and teachers with companies have taken place.<\/p>\n
