{"id":37838,"date":"2023-12-20T03:39:45","date_gmt":"2023-12-20T02:39:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stage.deutschland-nederland.eu\/projects\/realise-bio\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T00:37:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T23:37:29","slug":"realise-bio","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/deutschland-nederland.eu\/en\/projects\/realise-bio\/","title":{"rendered":"Realise-Bio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<br \/>\nRealise-Bio project has supported innovative forms of biomass utilisation in<br \/>\nthe border region between Germany and the Netherlands,&nbsp;thereby promoting<br \/>\nthe development of a circular and bioeconomy within the Interreg<br \/>\nGermany&ndash;Netherlands area.<\/p>\n<p>The key<br \/>\ninstrument in Realise-Bio was a set of model projects awarded&nbsp;to German<br \/>\nDutch partnerships. In these model projects, technologies&nbsp;were further<br \/>\ndeveloped to enable the circular use of biogenic raw materials. The topics<br \/>\naddressed ranged from insect farming and furniture construction to peat<br \/>\nsubstitutes in agriculture and horticulture. In&nbsp;addition to technology<br \/>\ndevelopment, Realise-Bio supported the model&nbsp;projects through intensive<br \/>\ncoaching throughout the realisation of their&nbsp;ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the<br \/>\nmodel projects, Realise-Bio established a cross border ecosystem for the<br \/>\ncircular and bioeconomy, ensuring that expertise and&nbsp;partners from both<br \/>\nsides of the border were eff ectively connected.
