Deutschland-Nederland Ohne Grenzen - Zonder Grenzen 2.0

In many areas there is a lack of information/knowledge about how the world works on the other side of the border. Both traditional media (TV, press) and social media hardly cross the border. This hinders the autonomous growth of mutual contact. However, improving cross-border communication is an important condition for strengthening cultural, social and economic cohesion in the border region. With this project, the cooperation between a number of media organisations in the northern border region, after an initial period via a number of pilot projects, will be further developed. The aim is for the media organisations on both sides of the border to increasingly include the cross-border perspective in their news gathering and general and cultural reports. After the project duration, a basis will have been laid for further normalisation of the cross-border perspective on regional developments, both among the media organisations themselves and among their target groups. The results of the project can be used immediately in education and tourism.
